PLEASE NOTE:

– Passengers must identify themselves with their passport or identity card plus migration card (Card that they will receive when entering Peru) and mention the reservation confirmation code to start the tourist services.
– Payments can only be made in cash (US dollars or Nuevos soles).
– For payments involving an exchange rate between soles and dollars, the exchange rate will be determined by the Travel Agency.
– Entrance fees to Huaynapicchu or Macchupicchu Mountain (book 1 or 2 months in advance)+USD $15.

DAY 01: CUSCO SANTA MARIA: Biking (B) = breakfast / (L) = lunch / (B) = breakfast / (B) = lunch.

Pick up from your hotel at 7:00 a.m. approx. Then we start the tour (1:30 hrs) to Ollantaytambo where we will have a short stop to use the restrooms. Acquire snack, then we continue the journey to Abra Malaga (4,316 masl) (14,160 feet above sea level) highest point of the entire journey will descend for 5 minutes and there will be the starting point of our bike tour, after the breafing = indications of the guide will be provided to the passenger the complete equipment for this type of activity will begin the descent by bike for 3 hours (47km) to the town of Huamanmarca, (1888 masl). We continue our journey to the town of Santa Maria (1200 masl) (30 minutes by car) lunch, free afternoon for additional activities, basic lodging overnight, during the trip we will experience the beauty of the snowy mountains, changing quickly from dry and cold to hot humid climate. Once we arrive to Santa Maria we will have the option to do Rafting class III and IV¬ (extra tour) on the Urubamba river that crosses this part of the jungle.

DAY 02 SANTA MARIA SANTA TERESA: Trekking (B) = breakfast / (L) = lunch / (D) = dinner.

After a delicious breakfast, at 6:30 a.m. approx. we will be ready to make the first day of trekking to Santa Teresa. The first 02 hours of our tour will be flat, on the way we will have plenty of vegetation and a variety of plantations of local products and then the next 02 hours will be uphill and we will have several stops to learn more about the richness in flora and fauna of the area in which we will find ourselves, One of them will be in a family house where we will relax for about 20 minutes here we can also stock up on water and some rich tropical fruits of the area, later we will cross a section of the Inca Trail that formerly connected the sacred city of the Incas Machupicchu with the city of Vilcabamba here our guide will explain a little more of the history of the Incas and also the communication system they had in those times, At this point we will also have some of the most impressive views of the entire canyon of Huancarccasa then descend for 01 hour to the village of Quellomayo where we will stop for lunch, after a delicious lunch and a refreshing rest in the hammocks of our restaurant we will continue with the last 02 hours of walking to the thermal baths of Cocalmayo where we will have a good time to enjoy this very special place, after the thermal baths we will go to our final destination the town of Santa Teresa where we will spend our second night in a basic lodging.

THIRD DAY 03 SANTA TERESA AGUAS CALIENTES : Santa Teresa – Aguas Calientes: Trekking (B) = breakfast / (L) = lunch / (D) = dinner.

After our breakfast, at 7:00 a.m. approx. We will start trekking to the town of Aguas Calientes, first we will walk for 3 hours through the Aobamba valley to the sector called Intihuatana where we will pass a small government control and then continue to Inka Rakay where we will enjoy our lunch on this route we will see a series of waterfalls and we will also have the opportunity to contemplate the majestic mountains of Aguas Calientes. We will have the opportunity to contemplate the majestic mountains Machupicchu and Haynapicchu as well as the Intihuatana or sundial that will be seen at the top of the mountain and other constructions of the Inca citadel of Machupicchu then the last 2 hours of walking will be next to the railway line to the town of Aguas Calientes.

DAY 04 . MACHUPICCHU: (B) = breakfast.

This is the most important day of the tour, the day we will arrive to one of the 7 wonders of the world, our last day of tour starts very early in order to appreciate the sunrise in the Inka citadel of Machupicchu, we will start the climb at 4:30 a.m., it will be 01 hour and a half walk to Machupicchu. It will be 01 hour and a half walk to the citadel of Machupicchu and we will have a tour with our guide for 02 hours by the most important buildings and temples of this city then you will have time to explore Machupicchu on your own and perhaps climb the mountain Huaynapicchu or Machupicchu and other places of interest. Later you will return to the town of Aguas Calientes to take the train back to Ollanta or Cusco.
